Loco
Box transitioned to an all black metal case in the 1980s.
The pedals are fairly generic looking with a colored stripe
just above the part you step on that denotes which type of
pedal it is. They stuck with non-imaginative names like Stereo
Chorus, Analog Delay, etc. which is disappointing since the
70's pedals had such great names. These pedals are somewhat
collectible due to rarity and sound good, but look very much
like a few other pedals of the same era. According to one
contributor to our Guest Book, these 80's pedals were sold
by Aria (Arai-Boueki) and were manufactured by Evans (Uecks)
in Japan. You can see in this photo that it appears Aria just
bought generic pedals and put their logo on them, the same
as Gig, Cutec and many other companies.

Anyone have any info on this Locobox Chorus
pedal? It's the only one we've seen that looks
like this.
